Senior Construction Trainer

We are seeking experienced trainers and assessors to deliver training package qualifications in the construction industry.
- Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling
- Certificate III in Solid Plastering
- Certificate III in Cabinet Making (cross-delivered under CPC projects)
As a trainer and assessor, your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering training and assessment according to standards and compliance requirements
- Preparing and facilitating classroom-based and practical onsite training
- Conducting assessments in simulated and/or real workplace environments
- Participating in validation, moderation, and continuous improvement processes
- Providing guidance and support to learners, ensuring a positive learning experience
Key criteria for this role include:
- Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
- Relevant trade qualifications and at least 3 years of industry experience
- Proven experience in delivering vocational training in construction qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Current industry currency and professional development records
- Ability to work independently and as part of a quality-focused team
Desirable qualities include:
- White Card (Construction Induction Training)
- Experience working with apprentices and mature-age learners
- RPL and workplace assessment experience
- Ability to adapt delivery for CRICOS or domestic students
