Due to increased growth in the HRWL training sector, trainer and assessor opportunities have arisen and are available on a casual basis across training facilities in Melbourne.

We are currently looking for Worksafe accredited trainer assessors holding 1 or more classes in the following,

(We are also looking for applicants in the following fields who have current experience and are looking to change careers to be a High risk trainer assessor)

SB basic scaffolding

SI intermediate scaffolding

LF forklift

WP EWP over 11 meters

DG Dogman

RB basic rigging

RI intermediate rigging

Holding a minimum C2 (slewing crane) will be looked apon favorably

any other Rii tickets would be advantageous

About you

Minimum of 2 years vocational experience in the Resources, construction sectors
Certificate IV TAE40116or equivalent
Be comfortable in talking in front of groups of people
High level of knowledge of the Australian qualification framework and training requirements in the resources, mining, and construction industries
Excellent communication skills
Be an absolute people person
Have a willingness to learn and undertake professional development
Inspection and Maintenance of training facility, tools, and equipment
Demonstrate a willingness and capability to perform other duties as deemed appropriate and consistent with your professional qualifications, skill, or experience

As part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination, which includes functional and drug and alcohol testing.

Shortlisted applicants will need to supply a full police check, including a Working with Children Check and a Criminal History Check.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: Up to $70.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Melbourne, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Teaching: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
