Chapter Area Lead Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Chapter Area Lead to spearhead our Engineering capability in Business Banking Technology.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, with experience in leading large virtual teams in a scaled agile environment. They will also have experience consulting with senior executives and driving the adoption of AI-powered engineering capabilities within the Engineering community.

The successful applicant will be responsible for defining and leading the capability uplift approach for the Chapter Area, ensuring consistency through standardization of tooling and methodologies. They will also foster a positive people experience for all Chapter members by building culture, connection, and community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading world-class engineering teams to deliver modern, future-ready technology and data.
  • Embedding a customer-centric DevSecOps culture within the domain and Chapter Area.
  • Driving the adoption of AI-powered engineering capabilities within the Engineering community.
  • Defining and leading the capability uplift approach for the Chapter Area.
  • Ensuring consistency through standardization of tooling and methodologies.
  • Fostering a positive people experience for all Chapter members.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience leading large virtual teams in a scaled agile environment.
  • Experience consulting with senior executives.
  • Experience in leading a DevSecOps culture and operating model.
  • Experience leading engineering teams who work with technologies such as .Net, Next.js, React, Kotlin, Swift, AWS, API's (REST & GraphQL), and GitHub actions.
  • Highly developed leadership, people, and communications skills.
  • Sound financial control and reporting skills.
