Job Title: Data Engineering Leader

Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineering Leader to join our team.

As a Data Engineering Leader, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale data pipelines and systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that data engineering initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and implementation of large-scale data pipelines and systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of data engineering initiatives
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers
  • Mentor and coach engineers to improve their skills and knowledge
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry best practices

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering
  • Strong technical expertise in solution design, architecture, and coding
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale data ingestion, transformation, and processing using AWS technologies
  • Proficient with modern data platforms and tools including Snowflake, Databricks, and Apache Storm
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
