Job Description

We are hiring Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable IP network solutions within the telecommunications domain. This role requires a deep understanding of network architecture, security, and performance optimization, along with strong collaboration and troubleshooting capabilities

Core Responsibilities

  • Planning, designing, and implementing IP networks in telecom domain.
  • Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices to ensure seamless connectivity and performance.
  • Implement and maintain robust security policies, including firewalls, IDS, and NAC, to protect network infrastructure.
  • Diagnose and resolve network issues to maintain high availability and performance.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, procedures, and policies in line with industry standards.
  • Work closely with IT teams and stakeholders to ensure network solutions align with business and technical requirements.
  • Audit and manage IP address allocations to ensure efficient utilization.
  • Continuously monitor network health, identify bottlenecks, and optimize configurations.
  • Perform regular maintenance, upgrades, and patching to ensure network stability and security.
  • Apply proactive security measures to safeguard data and infrastructure from unauthorized access.
Job Description - Grade Specific
  • Strong understanding of IP protocols, routing, switching, and core networking technologies.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing network architectures across diverse environments.
  • Ability to diagnose complex network issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Familiarity with network security frameworks and technologies.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Bachelor's degree or tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
