Product & Underwriting Manager - Casualty & Financial Lines

As a key member of the Ansvar Insurance team, you will be responsible for driving the profitability and underwriting excellence of our Casualty and Financial Lines portfolios. This leadership role will focus on setting the underwriting appetite and standards for our product offerings, as well as driving underwriting quality governance and assurance.
Key Responsibilities- Underwriting Strategy: Develop and implement underwriting strategies to drive profitability and growth in Casualty and Financial Lines.
- Underwriting Governance: Establish and maintain underwriting governance frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and guidance to underwriters and other stakeholders on Casualty and Financial Lines products and exposures.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, brokers, and other industry partners.
- Leadership and Development: Lead and develop a team of underwriters to achieve business objectives and drive underwriting excellence.
- Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience in a technical underwriting role in Casualty and/or Financial Lines.
- Knowledge and Skills: Deep knowledge of Casualty and Financial Lines products and exposures, as well as experience in policy drafting, business reporting, and stakeholder management.
- Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
