- Product lead and support to ensure successful implementation of regulatory change / compliance initiatives.
- Provide product subject matter expertise for compliance incident rectification activity.
- Prepare internal reporting for senior management and the trustee / RE boards.
- Ensure a sound operating environment through execution of controls and documentation of policies and processes.
- Product project implementation including analysis, impact assessment, and roll out.
- Support for delivery of current and compliant product disclosure documents alongside the Disclosure Team.
- Development of support materials and product related communications to internal and external stakeholders.
- Support Product Managers, Senior Product Managers and Head of Product and Pricing on product strategy, product development initiatives, product management and projects as required.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Insurance Product team with the following activities:
- Maintain existing product value and implement changes and enhancements to products to ensure optimal outcomes for customers and AMP.

- Support Product Managers, Senior Product Managers and Head of Product and Pricing on product strategy, product development initiatives, product management and projects as required.
- Support Product Management BAU activities which includes enquiries, survey's, reporting, campaigns, incident management support, insurance re-rates, quotes, disclosure and tender support.
- Oversight of Regulatory Change & responses and including working with business and operational teams in implement strategic projects and ensure risk management activities are conducted.
- Support the management and development of the insurance offer so that it remains contemporary, compliant and relevant for the customer target markets.
- Support in reviewing products and plans at risk of Erosion due to insurance premiums. Looking at insurance Framework, Erosion guidelines and insurance policies.
- Support with the oversight, raising and remediation activities of product insurance related incidents and breaches to the incident management team.
- Oversight insurance competitor analysis and insights.
- Maintain the existing insurance product set to legal, industry and competitor standards, including initiating and project managing product enhancements as required.
- Ensure the insurance offerings with the various products are managed within the Risk Management Framework and all incidents identified are rectified within the appropriate timeframes and process.
- Support Product Management as SME on insurance related regulatory change and growth initiatives as required.
- Assist with preparation of any relevant Management and/or Board Papers and Reports.
- Liaise with key stakeholders, in particular the Australian Wealth Management and Wealth Platform teams, our Advisor and Workplace Sales teams to assist with product management and development initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Demonstrated experience in the Australian wealth management market (2+ years) across Product, including platforms, superannuation, retirement, and advice.
- Understanding of compliance requirements, relevant legislation, and the role of regulators.
- Business related tertiary qualifications and/or relevant post graduate qualifications e.g., finance/commerce degree, CFA, RG146, CFP.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Product management and/or development experience and skills.
- Effective cross-functional stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
- Thorough understanding of regulatory environment.
- Strong understanding of the competitive market in which AMP operates.
- Strong customer focus.
- Strong analytical and implementation skills.
