How you'll make an impact


This role assists the Head of Financial Risk to lead the second line oversight program over Treasury and Financial Risk, for both AMP Bank Limited and AMP Limited.

As a trusted adviser to Group Treasury and Finance Teams, you will build strong stakeholder relationships to enable you to effectively review and challenge the application of AMP's Risk Management Strategy within the Group Treasury and Bank Finance Team, and any other team that supports the management of Group Treasury risks or obligations.

You will assist to proactively plan out the Second Line Oversight Program for Treasury and Financial Risk, taking a risk-based approach to ensuring AMP meets all prudential standards, APRA's expectations, and operates within Management Targets and the Board's Risk Appetite.

What you will bring to the team

  • Expert knowledge of the financial services industry, relevant regulators (e.g. ASIC and APRA), and current and proposed financial services regulatory and legislative requirements
  • Broad risk management skills and expertise, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of Enterprise Risk Management Frameworks,
  • Specific expertise in Treasury and Banking functions, including specific expertise in some or all of the risks set out in the scope of the role
  • Relevant experience in financial risk management and treasury Asset and Liability Management and Operations
  • Ability to implement, monitor and report on risk management and compliance frameworks, risks and incidents
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships at a range of levels
