About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manager to join our Valuation Modelling and Economics (VME) team within EY-Parthenon. As a key member of the team, you will advise clients on preserving, optimising, raising or investing capital, using various valuation techniques and methodologies for different purposes.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake valuations of businesses and intangible assets as part of small project teams.
  • Take ownership of delivery projects within each team, managing and preparing valuation reports, including assessment of strategic options for transformation initiatives and detailed financial modelling and analysis.
  • Critically evaluate issues and propose strategies related to the advice being provided.
  • Maintain positive, productive and professional relationships with client personnel, other EY project teams and colleagues.
Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree and approximately 3 to 7 years of related work experience.
  • A degree in finance, economics, accounting or business, with demonstrated aptitude in quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Direct experience utilising various valuation techniques and methodologies (market comparables, discounted cash flow, etc.) for different purposes.
  • Experience in financial modelling in MS Excel and related software preferred.
  • Experience conducting valuations for accounting and/or tax planning purposes desired.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, organisational, interpersonal and teaming skills.
