Asset Valuation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Valuation Specialist to join our team. As an Asset Valuation Specialist, you will play a key role in providing commercial insight and technical expertise to our clients.

Your primary responsibility will be to support the delivery of our asset due diligence and valuation services through the analysis of client data, market research, asset inspections, modelling, strategy and roadmaps development, project management and preparation of deliverables and recommendations.

You will work closely with our clients to understand their business objectives and develop tailored solutions to meet their needs. This will involve conducting physical inspections of plant and equipment, developing and reviewing valuation models for tangible asset valuations and due diligence processes, and leading meetings and facilitating calls with client management and on-site personnel regarding projects and execution.

You will have a background in Corporate Finance, Accounting or Engineering (or equivalent STEM discipline), combined with a Business/Commerce degree. Your experience will bring a different way of thinking, together with strong analytical skills and the ability to display innovative data analytics capabilities.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a proven track record of performing plant and equipment valuation and be able to demonstrate your expertise in asset valuations for mergers and acquisitions, purchase price accounting, fair value reporting, impairment testing, taxation, insurance, finance and other purposes.

You will also need to have excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills, as well as the ability to think critically and solve complex problems. Additionally, you should be proficient in software suites such as Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) as well as ETL and visualisation tools such as Power BI, Python and Tableau.

• Support the delivery of our asset due diligence and valuation services through the analysis of client data, market research, asset inspections, modelling, strategy and roadmaps development, project management and preparation of deliverables and recommendations;
