We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Manager in Business Valuations. This role presents an exceptional opportunity to leverage your expertise and contribute to the success of our organization.
Your primary responsibility will be to undertake valuations of businesses and intangible assets for various purposes, including management planning, mergers and acquisitions, tax, financial reporting, and disputes. You will work collaboratively with small project teams to deliver high-quality projects on time.
A bachelor's degree and approximately 3 to 7 years of related work experience are required. A degree in finance, economics, accounting or business, with demonstrated aptitude in quantitative and qualitative analysis is preferred. Direct experience utilizing various valuation techniques and methodologies (market comparables, discounted cash flow, etc) for different purposes is essential.
Experience in financial modeling in MS Excel and related software is preferred. Conducting valuations for accounting and/or tax planning purposes is also desired. Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, interpersonal, and teaming skills are necessary to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake valuations of businesses and intangible assets for various purposes
- Work collaboratively with small project teams to deliver high-quality projects on time
- Manage and prepare valuation reports, which may include assessment of strategic options for transformation initiatives and detailed financial modeling and analysis
- Think critically, identify issues, and propose strategies related to the advice being provided
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting or business
- Approximately 3-7 years of related work experience
- Demonstrated aptitude in quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Direct experience utilizing various valuation techniques and methodologies
- Experience in financial modeling in MS Excel and related software
- Conducting valuations for accounting and/or tax planning purposes
