Job Title: Rotational Pharmacist

Overview of the Role

This is a dynamic rotational pharmacy position at John Hunter Hospital, offering the opportunity to work in various operational and clinical areas. As a grade 2 pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical pharmacy services to patients and their families/carers.

The role involves working across both the John Hunter Hospital (JHH) and the John Hunter Children's Hospital (JHCH). You will engage in quality improvement initiatives and projects, contributing to the development of your skillset.

In this role, you will have the chance to shape the future of hospital services, delivering expert patient-focused care in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing high-quality clinical pharmacy services to patients and their families/carers
  • Engaging in quality improvement initiatives and projects
  • Contributing to the development of your skillset through reflective learning and professional development opportunities
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years' hospital pharmacy experience
  • Demonstrate meeting the requirements of a grade 2 pharmacist as outlined in the Pharmacy State Award
  • Current Pharmacist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with no restrictions on practice
  • Willingness and ability to participate in on-call, after-hours, weekend, and public holiday work as required
