Healthcare Specialist in Maternal and Women's Health


Job Description:
  • Provide high-level clinical care and leadership in the areas of maternal, obstetric, gynaecological health or combined services.
  • Participate in the on-call roster to ensure 24/7 coverage for acute maternal, obstetric and gynaecological services.
  • Supervise and support junior medical staff and actively participate in teaching and research activities focused on improving maternal and women's health outcomes.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes in maternal and women's health.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to deliver multidisciplinary care and develop innovative solutions to complex health issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Fellowship of a reputable specialist college in Australia or New Zealand.
  • Registration (or ability for registration) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
  • Extensive expertise in maternal, obstetric, gynaecological health or both, with a strong clinical background in managing complex cases.
  • Commitment to teaching, research and ongoing professional development in maternal and women's health.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team and provide leadership in a multidisciplinary setting to drive improved health outcomes.
