Job Title: Chief Helicopter Logistics Manager
About the Role:

The Deputy Product Manager plays a key role in delivering critical Defence capability in support of Australia's national interests. As part of an integrated workforce, you will lead a dynamic team in providing logistics, contract and maintenance support to the MH-60R Seahawk capability.

This exciting opportunity works in a combination of traditional Defence contracting and Foreign Military Sales commercial environments. You will be responsible for undertaking logistics and technical governance activities, offering a diverse and rewarding career within the organisation.

You will be accountable for performing and achieving complex MH-60R sustainment product management activities. This includes adhering to legislative frameworks, government decision-making, and Defence's mission and policy requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Apply your integrated logistics, contract management, aviation fleet management and business acumen skills to ensure MH-60R availability and readiness requirements are achieved;
  2. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, preparing briefings, submissions, reports and communicating commercial and contracting risks, issues and opportunities;
  3. Present ideas persuasively and provide expert advice on policy matters;
  4. Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain effective relationships in achieving shared objectives;
  5. Exercise judgement to achieve critical outcomes and make informed decisions.

As a leader in this role, you will have the ability to manage high-functioning teams and apply your knowledge of Integrated Logistics System (ILS), contract management support and maintenance outcomes to drive business growth and improvement.
