We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Operations Manager to lead our payroll function and ensure smooth, compliant processing of payroll.
Collaborating with leadership, you will oversee the full payroll cycle, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. You will lead a team of payroll professionals and work closely with Finance and management to deliver payroll services aligned with business needs.
About the RoleThis is a challenging opportunity for a seasoned payroll professional to take on a leadership role and drive continuous improvement in our payroll processes.
You will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring compliance with legislation and awards.
- Leading and developing the payroll team, driving accountability and continuous improvement.
- Managing payroll process improvements and system upgrades as needed.
- Collaborating with Finance and management to resolve payroll-related issues and support reporting needs.
- Providing regular payroll reporting and insights to the management team.
- Ensuring payroll reporting, reconciliations, and audits are completed accurately and on time.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience managing payroll in a medium to large organization.
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
- Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
