For 30 years, Far East Consortium (FEC) has transformed urban landscapes and breathed new life into the heart of Australia's cities. FEC's national expansion sees an impressive pipeline of projects, in excess of $10 billion, including West Side Place Melbourne, Queen's Wharf Brisbane, The Towers at Elizabeth Quay and Perth Hub in Perth, and The Star Residences in both the Gold Coast and Sydney.
FEC Construction QLD has commenced the final stage of the Queen's Wharf Project, Towers 5 & 6. When complete, Tower 5 will be one of the largest skyscrapers in Brisbane and the tallest of the Queen's Wharf project.
About the role:
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Office Manager to ensure the efficient day-to-day operations of our Brisbane office.
This role will also provide administrative support to the project team, contributing to the success of one of the largest developments in the city.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Managing the day-to-day operations of the Brisbane office to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow
Coordinating the purchase of office supplies, including stationery, groceries, and uniforms
Supporting the HR team with onboarding, recruitment, and staff training initiatives
Coordinating the maintenance of office technology, equipment, and software
Managing relationships with external vendors and service providers
Organising travel and accommodation arrangements.
Acting as the first point of contact for clients via phone and email
Providing comprehensive administrative support, including calendar and inbox management, filing, and records maintenance
Assisting senior management with the coordination and preparation of monthly project reports
About You
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 2 years' experience as an Office Manager
Previous experience within a construction, design or engineering firm (desirable).
Demonstrated ability to act with discretion and confidentiality
Systems:
Advanced MS Office programs
