This casual position plays a pivotal role, prioritising the well-being of our residents above all else.We are seeking a motivated person to make a positive impact and become part of our close-knit team, as well as embrace the chance to be a source of support and comfort for our residents.Casual position working mainly across 7am to 4pm - Monday to FridayWill suit candidates living in Mount Barker or the surrounding areasResponsibilitiesReporting to the Regional Care Manager, you will be responsible for:Supporting and assisting Home Care recipients with activities of daily living, including mobility, continence management, showering, dressing, personal grooming, medication promptingWhere required, assisting with meal preparationProvision of domestic and laundry services to care recipientsTransporting care recipients to appointments (e.g. medical)Social Support and Shopping assistanceQualifications and RequirementsCertificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support (or equivalent)Full Drivers Licence, Comprehensive Insurance and Reliable TransportNational Police Check (or ability to obtain)First Aid & CPR Certificate (or ability to obtain)Prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment, including Drug and Alcohol TestingThe wellbeing of all RetireAustralia team members is our priority and we regularly run initiatives such as safety training, wellness challenges, mental health awareness programs and a free annual flu vaccination program.We have a dedicated learning and development team, recognised for their training and development programs that assist team members to achieve their personal and professional development goals while working at RetireAustralia.RetireAustralia offers a free and confidential Employee Assistance Program to all employees and their family members to assist with work-related and personal issues.About RetireAustraliaRetireAustralia is a leading private owner, operator and developer of retirement villages with a focus on creating thriving communities where older Australians live the life they choose in their own homes.Across our villages in New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia we are revolutionising retirement living through our continuum of care model and range of accommodation options that integrate independent living with home care services and on-site higher acuity care facilities.
