Job Title: Guest Experience Specialist

Description

This is a full-time position within the hospitality industry that requires delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering positive relationships with guests and have valid working rights in Australia.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Greeting and welcoming guests: Ensuring a warm, professional, and friendly welcome to guests upon arrival.
  2. Reservations and billing: Updating and confirming guest reservations, capturing credit card details on arrival, and routing accounts to third parties efficiently.
  3. Prioritizing special requests: Managing VIP treatments, early arrivals, connecting rooms, and other bespoke requirements to ensure readiness for individual arrival times.
  4. Wake-up calls and communication: Inputting and managing wake-up calls for in-house guests, responding to inquiries via email and telephone in a timely manner.
  5. Departmental support: Acting on departmental trace reports efficiently and setting up VIP folders for next day arrivals.
  6. Luggage storage and inventory: Managing luggage storage, parcel retrieval, and inventory of loaned items, ensuring timely collection or return before check-out.
  7. Cash handling and transactions: Processing cash payments, performing currency exchanges, and handling paid-outs in compliance with established procedures.
Requirements
  • Tertiary education: A degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a similar role at luxury hotels, resorts, or commercial facilities.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) and hotel systems, excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Personality: A friendly and approachable personality with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
