Right at Home is seeking a Personal Care Worker to join their team. We provide exceptional in-home care and support to clients across Perth South Eastern Suburbs area of Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and assist with daily activities following the Client Care Plan.
  • Work closely with Registered Nurses to deliver client-specific care including personal hygiene, toileting, nutrition, mobility and more.
  • Identify client care needs and collaborate with the client's care team to ensure high-quality, holistic care.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, their families and team members.
  • Support clients with light housekeeping duties to promote independence including laundry, cleaning and meal preparation.
  • Maintain accurate daily client notes and report concerns promptly to the RN/Care Manager.
  • Support clients with mobility aids, range-of-motion exercises and non-sterile dressings under supervision of an RN.

Required Qualifications:

  • Cert III in Aged Care/Disability or equivalent.
  • Current Senior First Aid, CPR and Manual Handling certifications.
  • A roadworthy and insured vehicle with a current driver's licence.
  • NDIS Screening or willingness to obtain.
  • Strong expertise in mental health care.
  • Willingness to travel and flexibility with shifts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with empathy for elderly clients.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards for home care.
  • Commitment to safety, infection control and emergency procedures.
