Position Overview:

This role is responsible for driving local area marketing strategies, increasing referrals to pre-need and at-need teams, and generating new business partnerships within a designated geographic territory.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Lead and coach a team of Local Area Engagement Specialists to deliver growth and ensure InvoCare's services reach and support more families in their communities.
  • Foster a culture of high engagement, accountability, and excellence in brand representation.

Marketing & Community Engagement:

  • Implement and execute local area marketing plans to increase brand awareness and drive business growth.
  • Develop and manage local area engagement campaigns and strategies to target new community groups and increase sales of pre-paid funerals and at-need referrals.

Business Development & Networking:

  • Develop strong business networks with industry stakeholders, community groups, and key influencers to drive business growth and increase market share.
  • Monitor and report on territory business performance, risks, opportunities, and competitor activity.

Requirements:

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years in sales and/or business development leadership roles.
  • Proven success in coaching and developing business development team members.
  • Experience leading and managing financial performance targets and market share growth.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Experience within the funeral/death industry or healthcare sector.
  • Established network in local communities.
