The Capital Markets Business Manager will oversee Capital Markets processes, monitoring and testing to reduce risk. Key responsibilities include:

  • Testing all Capital Markets processes, including Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Money Market, Warrants, Derivatives, Reconciliations, and Control.
  • Running manual payment reports, SSI setup reports, and sanctions hits for trades and settlements.
  • Performing quality assurance testing to ensure process completion and accuracy.
  • Documenting processes for each test and ensuring adherence to segregation and random sampling procedures.
  • Escalating issues or manual process concerns.
  • Oversighting quarterly monitoring and control testing within the GRC system, ensuring compliance with deadlines.
  • Maintaining evidence for audit purposes and adhering to our Code of Conduct.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Understanding of general business and financial markets principles and products.
  • Basic accounting knowledge with a foundation in Securities accounting.
  • Software literacy in Excel and MS Word at an intermediate level.
  • Familiarity with treasury controls, such as unconfirmed trades and outstanding settlement reconciliation items.
  • Knowledge of core banking products, preferably related to Treasury.

Able to work in a team, learn from others, share knowledge, and accept added responsibility. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities are essential.
