Commodities and Global Markets Risk Specialist

The role of Commodities and Global Markets Risk Specialist involves supporting the business globally on complex trading risks. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced risk manager to join our dynamic and growing team.
Key Responsibilities- Leverage expertise in Financial Markets to deliver strategic advice on managing end-to-end risks and enhancing the control environment.
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including trading desks and support teams, to foster a robust operational risk culture and drive continuous improvement in processes and controls.
- Support the business in articulating risk issues and controls, evaluating risks in new products and business initiatives, investigating incidents to identify root causes, and testing the effectiveness of controls.
- 5+ years experience in Non-Financial Risk Management or Assurance supporting a Financial Markets business.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and influence at multiple levels.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to interpret and balance commercial issues within a risk framework.
