Lead Risk Management Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced risk management professional to join our team as a Lead Risk Management Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a meaningful difference in the organization.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing and mitigating risks, with expertise in digital risk management and controls. They will be responsible for designing and implementing operational controls for digital products, providing advice on risk management processes, executing control monitoring and testing programs, and overseeing the implementation of digital change requirements.

This role sits within the Chief Controls Office and reports directly to the Head of Risk and Controls. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills, as well as the ability to understand complex concepts and model techniques. They will also need to be able to work independently and cope with pressure and tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing operational controls for digital products
  • Providing advice on risk management processes
  • Executing control monitoring and testing programs
  • Oversight of digital change requirements

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a good understanding of digital risk and controls, preferably gained through experience in consulting, fintechs, or digital risk roles. You should also have a general understanding of other areas of risk, such as credit and market risk.
