About This Role

We're seeking a skilled professional to support accurate property valuation and fair rate distribution. This key role contributes to delivering essential services to our community by ensuring timely and precise processing of rate notices, waste management charges, and valuations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate property records for maximum council revenue.
  • Process rate notifications with precision and accuracy.
  • Provide expert advice and data to internal teams and ratepayers.
  • Support business improvement initiatives and enhance customer service.
  • Assist in recovering outstanding rates and manage concessions effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Knowledge of municipal rates, valuations, titles, and subdivisions.
  • Experience with property systems and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong communication and customer service skills with problem-solving abilities.
  • Multitasking skills with ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with TechOne, CRM, SharePoint, and Open Office systems (desirable).
  • Understanding of relevant legislation, including the Local Government Act and the Privacy Data Protection Act.
