Job Opportunity

Our client is a family-owned business with a long history in the construction industry.

We are seeking an experienced sales and design professional to join our team based in Brisbane (Capalaba).

This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with our QLD State Manager to drive business growth and expand our sales and design capabilities.

About the Role

The Sales and Design Consultant will be responsible for managing existing clients, developing new customer streams, and designing outdoor play areas.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing meetings with clients via phone and Zoom
  • Intrastate travel (with most meetings conducted remotely)
  • Establishing monthly call cycles and quarterly/yearly visits for existing customers
  • Sourcing new customers and maintaining ongoing relationships with existing clients
  • Assisting with the design of outdoor spaces using CAD (training provided)
  • Administration duties as required
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • A consultative sales approach and experience in a customer-focused sales environment
  • Knowledge of landscaping or construction (preferred but not essential)
  • CAD drawing experience (preferred but not essential, with training available)
  • Your own car and license
  • Working With Children's and Police Check
  • White card
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
