**About the Opportunity**
Due to consistent growth across our business, we have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Sales Engineer to design hydraulic cylinders and to join our sales team in Brendale QLD 4500.

**Your responsibilities in this role will include;**
- Sales and design of Hydraulic Cylinders.
- Assist customers with product selection by interpreting catalogues and product information.
- Prepare and submit quotes to customers.
- Service customers to both meet their current requirements and develop further opportunities.
- Liaising with major clients on special projects.
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up.
- Set and achieve annual sales and gross profit budgets.
- Provide internal technical support for the Sales Team.
- Generate sales orders.
- Achieve agreed annual sales and gross profit targets.

**About You**
To be considered for this role, you will possess;
- Experience in a similar role with knowledge of Hydraulics and/or Hydraulic Cylinders.
- Experience in cylinder design and sales.
- Diploma in engineering or a B.sc (Eng).
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and engineering drawings.
- Previous manufacturing experience is desirable.
- Strong commercial acumen, sales and negotiation skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Details oriented with strong attention to detail.
- A desire to grow and develop a long standing career within the Nordon Cylinders business.
