Expert Accounting Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Australian accounting firms, preferably in business services and Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSF). This role offers an opportunity to work independently and manage a client portfolio.

The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing the full process from client contact to financial statements, tax returns, tax planning, and advisory services. They will also balance compliance and advisory work with 80% of their time dedicated to compliance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a mix of SMSF and SME business clients with training provided in SMSF work.
  • Oversee the full process from client contact to financial statements, tax returns, tax planning, and advisory services.

Requirements:
  • Degree plus experience in Australian accounting firms, preferably in business services and SMSF.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a client portfolio.
  • Solid experience at compliance level with training provided in advisory capacity.
