Accounting Professional Wanted

  • The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing a client portfolio, providing advisory services, and preparing financial statements and tax returns.
  • The role offers a great mix of responsibilities, estimated at 80% compliance and 20% advisory, allowing for continuous learning and development.

Responsibilities Overview

  • Manage a diverse client portfolio, including SMSF and SME business clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
  • Provide full-cycle support from initial contact with the client through to financial statements, tax planning, and advisory services.
  • Contribute to the firm's success by delivering high-quality services that meet and exceed client expectations.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Degree qualification in Accounting or a related field, such as Finance or Business.
  • Experience in an Australian accounting firm, preferably in business services, with exposure to SMSF and other complex financial instruments.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client portfolios simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Solid experience at compliance level, with opportunities for training and development in advisory services.
  • Familiarity with Xero software and other industry-standard tools is desirable.
