Job Overview

The role of Demand Planner involves utilizing analytical skills to develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts. The goal is to ensure the optimal availability of core products and support revenue targets.

This position requires strong collaboration with various teams, including Finance, Supply Planning, and other departments to reconcile demand forecasts with revenue plans.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Forecasting: Develop and maintain rolling demand forecasts by capturing market insights and leading monthly Demand Review sessions.
  • Collaborative Partnerships: Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve forecasting processes and drive business results.
  • System Management & Analytics: Ensure data integrity in enterprise systems, monitor forecast accuracy metrics, and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Demand Planning within FMCG, retail, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or a dynamic supply chain environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Proven track record of managing complex product portfolios and leveraging statistical forecasting methods.
  • Strong proficiency in demand planning systems (SAP IBP) and ERP systems (SAP).
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query and Pivot Tables; Power BI experience is beneficial.
  • Data-driven mindset with analytical ability to operate in a complex planning environment.

  • Experience with statistical forecasting tools and methodologies.
