The RoleWe are seeking a skilled Associate Demand Manager to join our Macquarie, Sydney office. In this position, you will forecast demand, develop demand plans, and manage inventory efficiently for the APAC & CLASA organization.
Your primary objective will be to ensure customer needs are met while optimizing supply chain processes.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, business intelligence, and financial targets.
- Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to understand market dynamics and customer demand drivers.
- Analyse demand patterns, identifying opportunities and risks to optimize inventory levels and improve overall supply chain performance.
- Lead cross-functional meetings to review demand forecasts, inventory levels, and supply chain performance for both short-term and long-term horizons.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure demand planning effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
- Improve the demand management review process to enhance forecast accuracy and responsiveness.
- Provide user support and training when necessary.
To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent; or a minimum of 3 years of experience in a medical device environment.
You should have extensive exposure to Supply Chain or Demand Management processes within a distribution environment and knowledge of Oracle and SAP Business Intelligence solutions.
PREFERRED SKILLS INCLUDE Knowledge of Process Improvement Techniques, Lean Manufacturing Principles, Advanced Data Interrogation/Query Design and Reporting Techniques, Project Management Experience, and Advanced Understanding of Supply Chain Management Principles.
