**Supply Chain Optimization Specialist**

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain operations by forecasting demand, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a demand forecast based on historical sales data, trends, and sales assumptions.
  • Analyze performance metrics to measure demand forecast accuracy and bias and inventory target/ turns.
  • Manage New Product Introductions and product discontinuance.
  • Create and maintain inventory targets, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet customer needs, reduce SLOB and minimize stock-outs.
  • Lead demand consensus review with cross-functional teams to gather information, align objectives, and identify opportunities to improve demand plan

Requirements:

  • Degree or TAFE Qualified in business, data science, supply chain or other relevant fields.
  • 4+ years' experience in a demand planning/ forecasting role
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Supply/ Inventory role
  • Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data
  • Adaptable and ability to multitask in a busy environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in using SAP IBP forecasting software and S4 Hana an advantage.
