Job Opportunity Summary
This role offers an exciting chance to join our organization as a People and Culture Officer – Change and Engagement. The selected candidate will play a key operational and strategic support role in delivering end-to-end employee life cycle activities and HR initiatives.
The successful candidate will provide timely and accurate HR operational support across recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, and job design. They will also provide practical and policy-aligned HR advice to leaders and employees within the division.
You will be responsible for coordinating onboarding activities, ensuring a positive induction experience for new starters, and supporting recruitment actions including contract extensions, conversions, and job classification processes.
The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships, as well as proven experience in HR administration, workforce coordination, or employee services.
In addition, you will demonstrate a customer-first mindset, ability to deliver timely and accurate support across multiple priorities, and confidence managing competing tasks and deadlines in a high-paced and evolving setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver timely and accurate HR operational support across recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, and job design
- Provide practical and policy-aligned HR advice to leaders and employees within the division
- Coordinate onboarding activities and ensure a positive induction experience for new starters
- Support recruitment actions including contract extensions, conversions, and job classification processes
- Foster a positive work culture through effective communication, collaboration, and support
- Ensure safe work practices and compliance with relevant WHS and child safety obligations

- Knowledge of contemporary workforce practices and legislation
