Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our Engineering team in Griffith, NSW. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring farm machinery runs smoothly and efficiently.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about heavy machinery maintenance and repair. You will have the chance to work independently and as part of a dynamic team to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance and repair of all farm machinery
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues
- Performing routine servicing and oil changes
- Ensuring all machinery operates safely and efficiently
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience working as a diesel mechanic, preferably with farm machinery
- A strong understanding of diesel engines and hydraulic systems
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to working with heavy machinery
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- An attractive remuneration package based on qualifications and experience (estimated salary: AU$80,000 - AU$100,000 per annum)
