We are a leading agricultural enterprise with over 4,000 hectares of intensive irrigated horticultural production across Griffith (NSW), Bundaberg (QLD), and Mataranka (NT). Our operations encompass primary production, processing, value adding, and marketing.

As part of our engineering team, we are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join us in Griffith, NSW. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our farm machinery.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical Repairs and be able to work independently, troubleshooting problems quickly and effectively.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting regular maintenance checks on all farm machinery
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues
  • Repairing and replacing faulty parts
  • Performing routine servicing and oil changes
  • Ensuring all machinery is operating safely and efficiently

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • Experience working as a diesel mechanic, preferably with farm machinery
  • A strong understanding of diesel engines and hydraulic systems
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to working with heavy machinery
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • A willingness to work flexible hours during peak periods
