Job Description

The Event Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the successful planning and execution of our events. As part of this dynamic team, you will be responsible for coordinating event logistics, managing stakeholder relationships, and providing exceptional customer service.

  • Lead or support the delivery of state-level events to ensure seamless execution and exceed client expectations.
  • Manage event sanctioning, including coordination of the state/territory race calendar for cycling events in South Australia and throughout Australia.
  • Collaborate with clubs, private organizers, suppliers, and race directors to guarantee high-quality event experiences.
  • Supervise event volunteers as required to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all attendees.
Responsibilities

In addition to the key responsibilities outlined above, the Event Operations Coordinator will also contribute to:

  • Ensuring standard operating procedures and policies for events are implemented and adhered to.
  • Overseeing the appointment of event and state-appointed technical officials to maintain consistency and fairness.
  • Supporting the development of the annual events operations plan and budget to drive business growth.
  • Role modeling organizational values and demonstrating a high standard of behavior, including respect for and collaboration with others at all times.
  • Upholding and promoting the principles of AusCycling policies and operating procedures.
