Work with a vibrant team, who are focused on Business development and growth.Position OverviewWe're seeking a dynamic Sales & Events Coordinator to drive our catering business growth and manage event bookings across our locations.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and loves creating memorable experiences for families and corporate clients.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development:Generate new catering leads through proactive outreach and relationship buildingManage the full sales cycle from inquiry to booking confirmationDevelop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and local businessesAchieve monthly catering revenue targets.Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our catering packagesEvent Coordination:Coordinate catering events for groups ranging from intimate gatherings to corporate functionsManage event logistics including menu planning, dietary requirements, and venue coordinationLiaise with kitchen and service teams to ensure seamless event executionHandle event bookings across all locationsCoordinate special events and promotional activities across all locationsCustomer Service:Respond to catering inquiries via phone, email, and online platformsProvide detailed quotes and proposals using our per-person pricing structureMaintain accurate records of all bookings and customer interactionsEnsure exceptional customer experience from initial contact through event completionAdministrative Duties:Process catering orders and coordinate with kitchen teamsManage event calendars across multiple locationsPrepare sales reports and track performance metricsSupport with social media content related to events and cateringWhat We're Looking For2+ years experience in sales, events, or hospitalityStrong communication and relationship-building skillsExperience with catering or food service industry preferredAbility to work flexible hours including weekendsLocal knowledge of Adelaide market advantageousPassion for food, hospitality, and creating memorable experiencesWhat We OfferCompetitive salary + commission structureOpportunity to grow with an expanding South Australian businessWork in beautiful locations with ocean and city viewsSupportive family-owned business environmentStaff meals and discountsLocation & HoursPrimary base: At our offices in North AdelaideTravel between locations as requiredFull-time position with some weekend and evening work requiredFlexible arrangements considered for the right candidateSalary match Number of applicants Skills matchYour application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
