About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Paramedicine Education Specialist to join our team at The University of Notre Dame Australia. This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced educator and practitioner to contribute to the delivery of high-quality paramedicine programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The preparation, development, and delivery of lectures, tutorials, practical classes, and workplace integrated learning support.
  • Course coordination and line management of teaching team.
  • Involvement in professional activities to maintain professional accreditation requirements.
  • Consultation with students.
  • Broad administrative functions.
  • Marking and assessment; with regular quality review to meet all academic integrity and University policy and procedures in assessment.
  • Attendance at team, school or faculty meetings as required and a key role in planning or committee work.
  • Comply with policies and procedures in all aspects of their work and conduct.
  • Authority to commit resources of UNDA in line with the Operational Delegations of Authority.
  • Other duties as directed by the line manager, National Head of School or delegate.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Possession of a paramedicine qualification, registered with AHPRA and a PhD or Master's with five years' experience in health or professional practice-based education settings.
  • Demonstrated experience in the education and assessment of paramedics.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management qualities.
  • High level written and oral communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and collegially within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and Web-based applications.
  • Knowledge and experience in using Learning Management Systems like Blackboard.
