About the Role

The Service Analyst is responsible for providing first and second-level support to University customers and stakeholders across a range of digital services, including device computing, desktop software, web applications, audio visual technology, and connectivity and collaboration tools.

This role requires strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with staff and students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and effective support to University customers and stakeholders via phone, email, and online channels.
  • Utilize technical knowledge and policy to triage help desk requests and escalate complex issues to senior staff when necessary.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of support interactions, including issue resolutions and customer feedback.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and implement process improvements and resolve technical issues.
  • Administer computer account systems, including user access permissions and resource allocation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience in IT service and support.
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of ITIL framework principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
