Senior Lecturer - Paramedicine (Program Coordinator)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Lecturer to join our School of Medicine as a Program Coordinator for the Master of Paramedicine and Graduate Diploma of Paramedicine. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing, developing, and delivering lectures, tutorials, practical classes, and workplace integrated learning support.

About the Role:

  • Lecture Delivery: Prepare and deliver high-quality lectures, tutorials, and practical classes aligned with the curriculum and program requirements.
  • Course Coordination: Coordinate and manage the teaching team, ensuring seamless delivery of the program.
  • Professional Development: Maintain professional accreditation requirements through involvement in relevant activities.
  • Student Engagement: Foster strong relationships with students, providing guidance and support throughout their academic journey.
  • Broad Administrative Functions: Undertake various administrative tasks to ensure efficient program operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement course materials, assessments, and evaluations.
  • Provide feedback and mentorship to junior staff members.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with program goals and objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to program delivery and student progress.

Requirements:

  • Possess a paramedicine qualification registered with AHPRA and a PhD or Master's degree with five years' experience in health or professional practice-based education settings.
  • Demonstrate expertise in the education and assessment of paramedics.
  • Exhibit leadership and management qualities, with a proven track record of success.
  • Hold excellent written and oral communication skills.
