About the Role
Monash Health is seeking an experienced healthcare administrator to join our patient-focused team. The successful candidate will contribute to patient care while ensuring Department of Health and Human Services mandates are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming calls and emails, process referrals, schedule appointments, and manage wait list referrals.
- Attend clinic and perform data entry tasks.
- Provide excellent communication and customer service skills.
Requirements
- General clerical and/or administrative skills.
- Medical terminology knowledge.
- Excellent computer skills and a willingness to learn new software packages.
- Knowledge of iPM or similar patient management systems.
- Able to adapt in a changing environment to meet demands.
- Friendly and helpful customer service and communication skills.
- Proven organisational skills and ability to work autonomously.
- Demonstrable ability to manage a range of administration responsibilities across multiple areas.
- A quality focus while ensuring work is completed within required timeframes.
