Business Development Representative

We are seeking a Business Development Representative to partner with veterinarians and clinic owners across various products and services in the animal health industry.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  1. Analysing sales information and market data to identify potential business growth opportunities.
  2. Developing mutually beneficial relationships with potential customers, creating success through presentations that demonstrate our value proposition.
  3. Supporting existing customers to maximise their business opportunities through genuine consultation and identifying opportunities to engage with sales and marketing initiatives and our value-add services.
  4. Providing an excellent customer experience through regular contact, strong follow through on requests and commitments, and working closely with other employees to ensure a seamless customer experience.
About This Role

To be successful you will have:

  1. A proven track record of achieving sales growth through leveraging new and existing business.
  2. A passion for the animal health industry coupled with the ability to understand data to drive better outcomes for customers.
  3. Demonstrated ability to build lasting, value-add relationships within the animal health and/or agriculture industry.
  4. A current drivers license and the ability to travel as required.
  5. Previous sales experience in the veterinarian or agriculture industry is preferred.
  6. Bachelor degree qualifications in agriculture, animal sciences, business or similar are desired.
  7. Living in Western Victoria is preferred.
The Ideal Candidate

This role requires travel across Western Victoria. Successful applicants can anticipate travelling away from home for at least two weeks in six.
