Business Development Manager Opportunity

Covetrus is a global animal health technology and services company dedicated to advancing the world of veterinary medicine. We are currently seeking a passionate Business Development Manager to join our Australian team on a permanent basis and support an assigned territory across Western VIC.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Analysing sales information and market data to identify potential business growth opportunities.
  2. Developing strong business relationships with veterinarians and clinic owners through presentations that demonstrate our value proposition.
  3. Supporting existing customers to maximise their business opportunities through genuine consultation to their business and identifying opportunities to engage with sales and marketing initiatives.
  4. Providing an excellent customer experience through regular contact with clients, follow-through on requests and commitments, and working closely with other employees to ensure a seamless customer experience.

About You

To be successful you will have:

  1. A proven track record of achieving sales growth through leveraging new and existing business.
  2. A passion for the animal health industry coupled with the ability to understand data to drive better outcomes for our customers.
  3. Demonstrated ability to build lasting, value-add relationships within the animal health and/or agriculture industry.
  4. A current driver's license and the ability to travel as required.
  5. Previous sales experience in the veterinarian or agriculture industry (preferred).
  6. Bachelor degree qualifications in agriculture, animal sciences, business or similar (desired).
  7. Living in Western Vic (e.g. Geelong or Ballarat) preferred.

This position will require travel across Western Victoria. Successful applicants can anticipate travelling away from home for at least two weeks in six.
