Biosecurity professionals play a vital role in safeguarding animal health and welfare. As part of our team, you will be responsible for conducting on-site inspections, maintaining facilities, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

The Post-Entry Quarantine (PEQ) Group at our facility manages the post-arrival quarantine of high-risk plants and animals, guaranteeing they meet regulatory standards for safe import while maintaining their health and well-being.

In this position, you will work closely with our Animal Team to oversee the quarantine of cats, dogs, and horses in low to medium biosecurity facilities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough inspections of animals to ensure their health and well-being.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of animal handling and husbandry practices.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to the team in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
