Job Title: Behaviour Support Practitioner

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored supports to participants in the Bunbury region, focusing on developing and implementing positive behaviour support plans.
  • Work collaboratively with participants, their families, and carers to identify needs through assessment and person-centred planning.
  • Evaluate and develop evidence-based support plans, ensuring they align with the participant's goals and strengths.
  • Build the knowledge, capacity, and strengths of those supporting participants, including family, carers, and friends.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, mentoring less experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners.

Requirements
  • Current suitability as a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Core, Proficient, or Advanced level.
  • Significant experience providing support to individuals with challenging behaviours.
