Digital Learning Designer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Learning Designer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for creating engaging and interactive learning experiences that bring training content to life.

The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their skills in visual storytelling, graphic design, branding, layout, and animation. They will also possess proficiency in design and animation tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Vyond, and Canva.

Key responsibilities of the role include designing and developing branded graphics, layouts, icons, and templates for use in Rise, Storyline, video-based learning; creating light motion design elements using tools like After Effects, Vyond, or similar; collaborating with the Learning Design Specialist to turn storyboards into polished, learner-friendly modules; enhancing the user experience (UX) of digital training to make it clearer, faster, more fun; conducting basic in-person video filming and editing, voiceover syncing, and creating short-form visual assets for learning and comms.

This is a remote role that can be based anywhere in Australia, with a preference for locations where our venues are currently operating.

About the Role
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a graphic design, motion design, or multimedia production role. Ideally in a learning, education, or digital content team
  • Understanding of traditional principles in learning/content creation but ability to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions.
  • A strong portfolio that shows off your skills in visual storytelling, graphic design, branding, layout, and animation
  • Proficiency in design and animation tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Vyond, and Canva
  • Basic to intermediate experience with Rise and/or Storyline (or a willingness to learn quickly)
  • An understanding of digital learning UX and how visual design influences engagement
