About This Role

We are building a cutting-edge data governance capability that bridges the gap between business and technology. Our integrated approach ensures data is well-managed, trusted, and delivers value across the organisation.

As a key member of our data governance team, you will play a critical role in embedding our enterprise-wide Data Governance Framework and standards. You will support Data Owners and Stewards in understanding and aligning with internal policies and external regulations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Data Governance Framework, including associated policies, standards, and processes.
  • Maintain and evolve key governance assets such as the Business Glossary, Data Catalogue, and Data Dictionary.
  • Coordinate and lead data quality initiatives; identify, escalate, and help resolve data quality issues across operational teams.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure governance is embedded in data products, pipelines, and platforms.
  • Promote awareness and adoption of data governance practices across the business.
Key Requirements
  • Experience with Microsoft Purview is essential.
  • Previous experience in data governance, data management, or data analytics roles.
  • A strong understanding of data governance frameworks and practices, including data classification, metadata management, data quality, and sensitive data labelling.
