Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Palliative Care team at Mount Druitt Hospital.

The successful candidate will provide individualized patient care, maximizing health and support for patients and families while working within a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Current Registration: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Palliative Care Experience: Demonstrated experience in palliative care or oncology, or a related field.
  • Education and Training: Postgraduate qualifications in palliative care or oncology, or working towards same.
  • Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills, including an understanding of therapeutic communication principles.
