Job Title:

Policy Governance Specialist

Job Summary:

This is a challenging role that involves undertaking analysis of legislation and operational processes to inform evidence-based policy and advice. The ideal candidate will have experience working with complex and sensitive legislation, in-depth knowledge of legislative frameworks, and strong written and oral communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake analysis of the alignment of legislation and operational processes.
  • Draft policy documents for review including briefings papers, strategies, discussion papers and reports.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders to support the development of policy.
  • Research and analyse to inform, develop and support evidence-based policy and advice.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have experience working with complex and sensitive legislation, in-depth knowledge of legislative, financial and administrative frameworks, and strong written and oral communication skills.

Qualifications, experience in, or knowledge of, legislation such as statutory interpretation, legislative processes or regulation would be advantageous.
