Job Title: Policy and Governance Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a challenging role within a high-profile branch of the Federal Government Department, responsible for overseeing the delivery of Inland Rail.

  • Provide comprehensive secretariat functions for governance groups chaired by departmental executives.
  • Develop strategic policy initiatives, monitor, and influence policy across the Department with significant impacts.
  • Oversee the development of business cases that drive results.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar position within the Federal Government, preferably in a leadership or advisory capacity.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, work in a fast-paced environment, and deliver under pressure.
  • High attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.

To be considered for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and possess the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance at the Baseline level or higher.
