Highly Skilled Aircraft Repair Specialist

Our team seeks a skilled Structural/Sheet Metal Engineer to join our workforce. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing aircraft sheet metal repairs and composite repairs in accordance with SAAB repair statements and SRM.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in aircraft structural repairs, possess well-developed verbal and written communication skills, and exhibit a highly motivated and enthusiastic attitude.
The selected applicant will also be required to adhere to safety regulations, provide sheet metal support at other bases and in AOG events, and maintain the company's sheet metal tooling associated with the sheet metal workshop.
Preferred selection criteria include heavy maintenance experience, NDI experience or approvals, and CASA B1 & A1 licence.

- Carry out Aircraft sheet metal repairs IAW SAAB repair statements and SAAB SRM.
- Carry out composite repairs IAW SAAB SRM and SAAB repair statements.
- Assist in corrosion/damage removal & assessment.
- Assist in development of improved structural repair processes & ICAs.
- Maintain the company sheet metal tooling associated with the sheet metal workshop.
- Assist in training of structural repair work & sheet metal practices.
- Adhere to Regional Express' safety regulations.
- Provide sheet metal support at other bases & in AOG events.
